Ricard Munne Caldes

Ricard Munné is a Senior R&D Project Lead in the Computer Vision Team of BDS R&D Spain. He earned a degree in Telecommunications Technical Engineer and pursued a postgraduate in Information Technology Management at Universitat Ramon Llull, Barcelona. Since 2011 is working in Atos Research and Innovation, now BDS R&D, where he has been involved in several EU funded projects related to various aspects of public sector, big data and AI, like Rural Inclusion, FOCUS, BIG, SECONOMICS, MOVEUS, RERUM, Science2Society, BDVe, Big Policy Canvas, Grapevine, PolicyCLOUD and TEMA. He is the consortium Coordinator of I-SEAMORE.

Micaela Vieira

Micaela Vieira has a bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and a master’s degree in Management. Since October 2017, has been closely working with Startup Madeira, as a project coordinator of Madeira Startup Retreat, an acceleration program for international travel & tourism startups, that during the last 6 editions has welcomed Madeira Islands over 60 international startups and 179 entrepreneurs from 38 nationalities. 

Since September 2018, performs the duties of Project Manager, at Startup Madeira, attached to the projects startNOW, start4TECH, HUB Azul Madeira, Blue Economy Entrepreneurship and the Digital Nomads Madeira Islands, which have attracted over 19.400 registrations.

Philipp Hummer

Philipp Hummer is founder of the SPOTTERON App platform, supplying Citizen Science and Public Engagement toolkits for both mobile devices and desktops across the globe. With over 10 years experience in application, media and interaction design for Citizen Science, Philipp Hummer and his team have created the collaborative COSEA App toolkit together with two Horizon Europe projects as a new emerging hub for marine Citizen Science. Designed as open for collaboration, COSEA enables institutions, organizations, researchers, and stakeholders to co-use a modern and communication-rich toolkit with interactive mobile Apps, many advanced features, and data connectors.

Dr. Afşin Yusuf Çetinkaya

Dr. Afşin Yusuf Çetinkaya, a professor in the Environmental Engineering Department at Yıldız Technical University, began his academic career immediately after receiving his bachelor’s degree in 2010. To date, he has participated in 18 international research projects. Additionally, he is the coordinator of one Horizon project and three Erasmus+ projects, all of which focus on ocean literacy.

Raquel Amaral has been working as a project manager of European Projects since 2022. At ADT4Blue’s she is leader of open calls and currently managing the project’s first open call.

Oriane Georges is a Marine Scientist and Bio-industries Engineer dedicated to environmental preservation. She has been working for the past few years on R&D&I EU projects related to marine, environmental, and ecosystems restoration as a Project Manager, Communication Manager, Work Package leader, and Open Call Manager within Blue economy sectors.
