- About the “Into the Reef” Mural
The “Into the Reef” mural is a large-scale, movable, three-dimensional artwork created by Italian–Brazilian street artist Neto Vettorello. The mural transforms the space into a vibrant, immersive underwater world, inviting viewers to step inside and explore the complexity and beauty of marine life.
Developed as part of the BlueMissionAA project, the street art mural was created using eco-friendly and responsibly sourced materials, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainability. It celebrates the diversity, fragility, and wonder of ocean ecosystems, inspiring reflection on our relationship with the marine environment and the urgent need for collective action to protect it.

We now invite ocean-related projects, NGOs, educational institutions, and community initiatives to reuse the mural as part of campaigns, exhibitions, or public events taking place in Ireland that promote ocean literacy, sustainability, and marine conservation.
This open call offers a unique opportunity to:
- Promote ocean conservation through a powerful and visually striking artwork
- Engage communities with creative and inspiring environmental storytelling
- Reimagine an existing piece of public art as a tool for advocacy, education, and outreach
